Hey Glow Mamas,
Have you ever stood at a crossroads, unsure of which path to take, yet excited about the possibilities ahead? Today, I want to share something really personal with you. Right now, I’m in the middle of a big transition in my life. After 12 years with my previous company, I’ve found myself stepping into new territory, where things aren’t as certain or structured as they used to be. It’s a bit like standing at a crossroads, with one chapter behind me and a whole new one waiting ahead. There’s excitement, for sure, but also a lot of reflecting and figuring things out as I navigate this change.
This shift has given me the chance to pause and reflect on where I am. Not just professionally, but personally, too. It’s funny how, when you’re in a routine for so long, you don’t really stop to ask yourself, Is this what I want? Am I living in alignment with who I am becoming? Now, as I navigate these changes, I’m realizing that growth isn’t always about knowing exactly what’s next—it’s about learning to trust the process, even when it feels uncertain.
What I’ve Actually Managed to Do
Let’s be real: this stage of life isn’t about giant leaps or immediate clarity. It’s about small, intentional shifts. And while I’m still figuring a lot out, there has been progress, and it’s worth celebrating.
Learning to say “no” without guilt. As someone who has spent years trying to please everyone; whether it’s at work, at home, or in my social life, this one has been huge for me. I’ve realized that my energy is valuable, and saying “no” to the wrong things means saying “yes” to the things that truly matter.
Trusting my instincts again. In structured environments, it’s easy to lose touch with your inner voice. I’m reconnecting with that voice—listening to it as a coach, a parent, and a caretaker of my own well-being.
Embracing small steps. I used to think if I wasn't moving fast, I was failing. But over the past few weeks, I’ve learned to honor the small steps. Whether it’s a 20-minute workout, taking a moment to breathe, or making progress on Glow Mama in small but meaningful ways, I’ve realized that these steps count. They’re not about perfection, but about movement, and that’s what matters.
But by no mean, I want to sugarcoat it: this journey hasn’t been without its challenges. There are still moments when that voice creeps in, telling me, “You’re not doing enough. You’re not moving fast enough. You’re falling behind.”
It’s easy to feel this way, especially when it seems like others are excelling. But I’m learning to embrace my unique path, realizing that someone else’s timeline isn’t mine: We’re all carrying different loads, facing different battles. It’s not about moving faster; it’s about moving forward in a way that feels true to me.
Embracing Where I Am and Where I’m Going
As I look ahead, my biggest hope is that I continue to honor this process. That I keep showing up for myself, for my family, and for Glow Mama imperfectly but consistently. I want to keep embracing the messy middle, because that’s where the growth happens.
I hope to keep trusting that each small step is leading me closer to the “real me of tomorrow”—the version of myself that is evolving, growing, and learning along the way.
My Wish for You (and for Us)
If you’re in a season of transition too—whether it’s in your career, your personal life, or just trying to find some balance, let’s talk about it. This is not easy, but it’s necessary. I wish for both of us to keep growing, to keep showing up, and to trust that we are enough, right here, right now.
Here’s what I want for us:
To honor the small wins. The little moments where we made it through the day, the times we listened to our inner voice, the boundaries we set—these are victories.
To trust the process, even when it’s messy and unclear.
To believe in our own pace and stop comparing ourselves to others, knowing that our paths are unique.
What Have You Learned About Yourself?
Now I want to hear from you. What have you been learning about yourself lately? What small steps are you taking (that maybe you didn’t even notice until now!) ? What challenges deserve to be acknowledged?
Drop a comment and share where you’re at in your journey. Let’s continue to celebrate your progress, even the messy, imperfect parts.
Let’s keep glowing, one step at a time!
With love, reflection, and plenty of resilience!
